Download the Verified First extension for Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Microsoft Edge.

Once the extension has been successfully installed, refresh your browser. Verified First will be visible on candidate profiles in Comeet.

After completing installation of the extension, you’ll need to Sign up or Login to Verified First.

Click Screen With Verified First on the candidate profile. The Verified First screen will open and populate the candidate’s information.

Select the search package that you’d like to conduct.

Select the location that you’re conducting the background check for.

You can modify your search package by selecting additional searches that you’d like to add.

Click Send Email Invite — This will send an email or text message invite to the candidate containing a link to the disclosure and authorization forms that must be filled out prior to conducting a background check. Text message invites can save 8 hours off of the candidate response time.

If you’d rather collect paper disclosure and authorization forms and fill in the info yourself, click Next.

After placing the order via email invite, the button status will change to Waiting on Applicant.

Once the candidate submits the required forms, Verified First will automatically begin the background check.

When the report is ready click Report Complete on the candidate profile to view the completed report. The recruiter that submits the background check request will be notified when it’s complete by Verified First.

From this screen you can choose to approve the candidate for hire or reject the candidate using built in templates that contain the legally required documents.
